Watch out for pumpkin pulp!

Halloween is approaching and pumpkins are aplenty.  If you're going to make pumpkin pie be careful where you dispose of the pumpkin pulp.  The pulp and seeds don't break down like most foods - instead, the pulp and seeds harden and can clog your drain.  Don't flush them down the drain or garbage disposal! Russo Bros. & Co. suggests you carve your pumpkin on clear plastic wrap and throw it in the garbage when you are done.

Happy Halloween!
