Safety warning regarding water heaters

If your water heater, gas or electric, has been submerged in water DO NOT ATTEMPT to repair, install or operate the product. Due to the conductivity of water along with its corrosive properties all operational controls are rendered unsafe. As for the insulation properties of the product, it would have become saturated with water, which cannot be removed resulting in exterior corrosion and failure of the product.

The affected water heater(s) should be removed, made unusable and replaced.

As a further note, manufacturer’s warranties will not be applied when the product has been damaged by flood.

If you are unsure whether your water heater has been affected by a recent storm, contact Russo Bros. & Co. at 1-800-MR-RUSSO (1-800-677-8776) and a qualified technician will evaluate your situation and recommend all available options.
